Why buy instead of rent

Most invoicing tools charge you every month, forever. This one doesn’t.

You pay once Subscription: keeps climbing Today Year after year

One license per site. Two ways to pay.

Pay $1,500 once, or $50 a month for 36 months ($1,800 in total). Then it is yours for life, with no renewal date to remember. Each website you run it on has its own license. See pricing
No seats.

A seat is a paid license for each person who uses software. We don’t charge for them, so your team and client list can grow without your bill growing with it. What is a seat?
Nothing paywalled.

Every feature on this page is included. No “Pro tier” to unlock the good parts.
Your data stays on your site.

It lives inside your own WordPress. Payments go straight to your own gateway accounts.

Deposits on invoices

Ask for a deposit up front. Collect the rest after.

Add a deposit to any invoice or recurring invoice, as a percentage of the total or a fixed dollar amount. The View & Pay page asks for the deposit first, and once it is paid it asks for the balance. The PDF shows what is due now, and every payment gateway charges the right amount automatically.

  • Recurring invoices can copy the deposit onto every invoice, or take it on the first invoice only.
  • Generate and email now. Tick one box when you create a recurring invoice and the first one goes out immediately.

Try it: pick a deposit.

Online booking

Clients book, pay and reschedule themselves.

Set your hours, group services under colour-coded headings, and take a deposit or full payment up front. Unpaid bookings warn the client, then release the time slot automatically, and the warning email lets them pay or move the booking. Add staff, Google Calendar sync, and a “My Bookings” page for your clients. Show each service group in its own layout, and let clients stack the services you allow in one visit, all without the page jumping back to the top.

How booking works

Set up your services once. Deposits keep your calendar full of real appointments.

1. Add your services in minutes

Create each service

Give it a name, a price, a length, and a deposit percentage (or require payment in full). Set the length to 0 for drop-off work that needs a date but no time slot. Add a turnaround time in days, weeks or months. Or sell it as a subscription that renews weekly, every 2 weeks, monthly or annually.
Group with colour

Sort services under coloured headings so clients can find what they need at a glance. Each category gets its own booking shortcode automatically.
Set your hours and publish

Choose your business hours and how long clients have to pay, then drop the booking page onto any page of your site.

2. Then it runs itself

A client books online and is asked for the deposit. What happens next depends on whether they pay.

STEP 1

Client books online and receives a deposit invoice

Their time slot is held for them while they pay.

THEY PAY THE DEPOSIT
Appointment confirmed

  • The booking is confirmed and added to your calendar (with Google Calendar connected).
  • Invoice marked paid and a receipt goes out automatically.
  • The client sees it under “My Upcoming Bookings”, and can follow the work’s progress if you turned on tracking.
THEY DON’T PAY
A reminder first, a clean cancellation last

REMINDER EMAIL
Before the deadline the client is warned and offered two buttons:

↓ still unpaid when the deadline passes ↓
AUTOMATIC CANCELLATION
  • Appointment cancelled
  • Removed from your calendar
  • Unpaid invoice removed
  • Time slot opens up for someone else

You choose how many hours before the appointment the deposit is due, and whether reminders are sent.

Appointments calendar

See every appointment, and move it with your mouse.

All of your bookings in a full calendar, in your WordPress admin or on any page of your site. Drag an appointment to another day or time, click it to see the details, update progress, open the invoice, cancel it, or add a new one by hand.

  • Month, week, day and list views, coloured by service group
  • Add an appointment yourself, with or without an invoice. If Google Calendar is linked it is added there too, and it shows up in your Apple Calendar feed
  • Optional email to the client when you move or cancel
  • Choose from 8 designs: Classic, Midnight, Ocean, Forest, Sunset, Mono, Blush and High contrast
  • Shortcode for your own team: you pick which roles can see and manage it, and every action is checked on the server
  • Your size, or full screen

Reports and tax time

Quarterly numbers ready when the accountant asks.

See invoiced, tax collected, payments received, expenses and net income by quarter. Invoice, estimate, payment, client, expense and payroll reports all export to CSV or PDF. Mark practice invoices as test payments and they stay out of every total.

Sell your own products

A built-in shop for downloads, licence keys and subscriptions.

Sell files or licence keys from any page. Delivery only happens once the invoice is paid. Offer recurring products that bill on schedule, auto-stop after a cap or end date, and manage licences per client. Every product gets its own permanent product code, and a client’s websites are added to their profile only after they have paid.

Forms and intake

Build a form once. Email it to anyone, or drop it on any page.

Intake forms, questionnaires, onboarding checklists. Answers are filed under the right client automatically, and clients you have not added yet are created from their email address.

Pick a look. It applies to every form.

Five ready-made designs, set once under Forms > Design, then shared by your emailed forms and the shortcode. Add your logo, choose an accent colour and corner roundness, and set the button text and position. Fields sit side by side in rows, or take the full width, and they stack on phones.

  • Ten field types: short and long text, email, phone, number, date, drop-down, radio buttons, checkboxes and a tick box.
  • Live preview while you build, using your chosen design and logo.
  • Google reCAPTCHA (v2 checkbox or invisible v3), switched on or off for each form.
  • Pop-up forms: a button on the page opens the form in a pop-up, or open it from any link or menu item. Choose from twelve button designs, including rounded, and pick the button colour for each form. The window and backdrop match the form’s design.
  • Placement and pictures: align each form left, centre, right or full width, and add a Media Library image above, left or right of it.
  • Settings: email notifications to you (and a copy to the client), redirect after submit, require login, one submission per client, and custom CSS.
Client intake
Tell us a little about your project.

Send it, or embed it

Email it to clients

Pick one client, several, or a whole group. Each gets a personal link, so their answers land under their name.
Email it to people who are not clients yet

Paste any email addresses. Their answers create a client record from the email, or match one that already exists. A “Sent so far” list shows who has replied, and you can remove or resend.
Put it on a page

Use the form’s shortcode on any page. Align it left, centre, right or full width, show it as a pop-up, and add a picture from your Media Library.

Projects

Show clients how the work is going. Skip the “any update?” emails.

Add a project for a client, link its invoices, and move a slider as the work progresses. A bar fills to the percent complete, and your client can follow along on their own page or get an email whenever you send an update.

  • Status, dates and a percent-complete bar that fills as you go
  • Link invoices to a project and see the total and the balance still owing
  • Tick off finished tasks and send them to the client as a progress report
  • Add more clients to a project, and email them only when you choose, or automatically
  • A record of activity: started, progress, invoices, notes and every update emailed
  • Clients are told when work starts, then get updates whenever you send them
  • Clients follow it with [imc_my_projects], which you can limit to the roles you choose

What you’d pay elsewhere

Three tools. Three bills. Three renewal dates.

A small service business usually pays for invoicing, online booking and forms separately, every month or year. Here is what a typical plan for each costs at list price, and what that adds up to over three years.

What you need A typical choice List price Over 3 years
Invoicing and online payments FreshBooks PlusUp to 50 billable clients $42 CAD / month $1,512 CAD

THE THREE SEPARATE TOOLS
$1,512 CAD + $972 USD + $477 USD
Over three years, and the bills keep coming. Stop paying and you lose access.
INVOICE MANAGER, SINGLE SITE
$1,500 once
Covers all of the above and more, with no per-person charges. The shop, payroll tracking and plugin licensing are not even counted in the comparison.

List prices before tax, in the currency each vendor charges, taken from public pricing pages as reported by comparison sites between August and October 2026 (FreshBooks prices are regular, not introductory, rates). Plans differ in features and limits, and vendors change prices, so check each vendor for today’s price. Product names belong to their owners and are used only to describe what a business might buy.

How pricing works

Pay once, or pay until you own it. Never pay forever.

One license covers one website. Choose how to pay: both options include every feature, and both end the same way, with you owning the system for life.

ONE LICENSE PER SITE

Typical subscription software

Pay every month, forever
Month 1Never ends

Most invoicing systems charge you every month indefinitely. The day you stop paying, you lose access, and after all those years of payments you still do not own a thing.

Razenet: pay to own

Pay monthlyYours for life
Month 1Payments reach the total, then stop

Your payments build toward ownership. When they reach the cap, the payments stop and the system is yours to keep for life. Illustration only: the bars show the idea, not an exact scale.

PAYING IN FULL
Pay the one-time price ($1,500) and the system is yours for life immediately.
PAYING MONTHLY
Pay for 36 months. When your payments reach the total ($1,800) the system is yours for life.
CANCELLING
You can cancel anytime. If payments stop before the total is reached, the plugin is deactivated.
NO FOREVER BILLING
Unlike subscription software, the monthly option has a finish line. You pay until you own it, then you are done.

Want the details? Read the full license terms or the frequently asked questions.

What is a seat?

Most software charges per person. We don’t.

A “seat” is a paid license for one person to use the software.

With per-seat pricing, every person who logs in needs their own seat, and you pay for each one, usually every month. If you have you, two staff members and a bookkeeper, that is four seats. Hire someone, pay more. Bring in your accountant for tax season, pay more. Your bill grows with your team, even though the software does exactly the same thing.
