Questions
Is it really a one-time payment?
Yes. You pay $140 once and keep the plugin. There’s no yearly renewal and no locked “Pro” features.
What do I need to connect it to Google?
A free Google Cloud API key with the Places API enabled. Google requires billing to be turned on for the project, but it includes a monthly free usage allowance that a daily sync stays well within. Prefer not to deal with it? Our setup service handles it for you.
How many reviews does it collect?
Google’s API sends your latest reviews (up to 5) each time it syncs. The plugin keeps every new one, so your collection grows automatically. To bring in your complete review history right away, import a Google Takeout export of your Business Profile. It takes a couple of minutes.
Will it slow down my website?
No. Reviews are stored in your own WordPress database, so pages don’t wait on Google to load. The front-end script is small and needs no jQuery.
Can I hide a review I don’t want shown?
Yes. Hide any review with one click, feature your favourites so they show first, or set a minimum star rating in the shortcode.
Will it work with my theme?
It works with any WordPress theme or page builder that accepts shortcodes. Each template’s styles are kept separate so they won’t change the rest of your site.
